The Ghana Football Association License D Coaching course began in the Volta Regional capital Ho.
The intensive course is under the organisation of the Technical Directorate of the Ghana Football Association in partnership with the Volta Regional Football Association.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, the Chairman of the Regional Football Football Association, Daniel Agbogah congratulated the participants for the bold step taken in enriching their Technical capability and urge them to embrace courses of this nature.
“Am very happy to see you here and the bold decision you’ve taken to better yourselves. This isn’t just for your personal uplifting but for the region and country as a whole. I want to urge you to aim for the ultimate so that football can benefit from you.” he added.
Mr Agbogba also showered praises on the only female participant Love Agbalekpor for her initiative and asked that the region refund her course registration fee as a gesture to encourage other women to take up coaching to the highest level.
Coach Abukari Damba in a short speech encourage the participants to take the course very seriously as they form the future of Ghana Football. He said the program is to equipment participants on the development of Young footballers, Techniques of coaching etc.
The course instructors present include Coach Abukari Damba, Burton Asare Wilson and
Maxwell Ceasar Kemeh the course Co-Ordinator/ Administrative Manager, Gfa Technical Directorate.
The Regional Fa delegation present includes the Chairman, Regional Secretary and Exco members.
About Fourty coaches from the Grassroots and Elite clubs attended the coaching course which ends on Monday 24th January 2022.
