The Volta Regional Football Association has received an amount of Ghc 10,000.00 from Member of Parliament for Hohoe Constituency, Honourable John Peter Amewu as support for the activities of the RFA.
Before the start of the ongoing 2022/2023 league season, The Regional Football Association wrote to seek support from notable personalities and all MPs in the Volta Region.
The Executive Council of the RFA is of the view that development of football in the Volta Region requires the involvement of all and sundry hence, the appeal to seek support from everyone as much as possible especially in the Volta Region.
In view of this, the astute legislator feels convinced about the appeal from the RFA and has generously donated the amount to support the cause of football development in the Region.
This becomes the third support the RFA has benefited from MPs in the Volta Region.
Hon. Dzifa Abla Gomashie MP for Ketu South and Hon. Bernard Ahiafor MP for Akatsi South assisted with a trophy and Ghc 2,000.00 respectively to support the RFA during the 2020/2021 league season.
The Regional FA hope to receive more supports of this kind as the FA continue to knock at the doors of all stakeholders in the Region.
