The Volta Regional Football Association chairman, Mr. Daniel Agbogah met all District and Municipal Football Association chairmen at the Regional FA Secretariat in Ho on Thursday May 9, 2024.
The purpose of the meeting was to get first-hand information on the progress of work in the districts so far.
At the meeting, the chairmen provided updates from their districts regarding the categories of Colts which include, U13, U15, U17, Division Three Leagues.
Mr. Agbogah urged the DFA chairmen to work hard to revive the game at the districts without excuse.
He was optimistic that the district would deliver on their mandates. He therefore charged them to invest hugely in the development and training of Catch Them Young Referees, an initiative the Ghan FA holds in high esteem.
The district chairmen were thus taken through the GFA Regulations to be abreast with the laws and statutes of the game.
In all, 13 District Chairmen were present at the meeting.
