The stage is set for a thrilling all-south encounter as Agbozume Weavers prepares to face Regional Champions, Inter Allies FC in the finals of the 2023/24 Adonai Estate Volta FA Cup.
The two teams from Southern Zone A and B respectively, are gearing up for a fierce battle to claim the coveted title.
On Saturday, July 13th, 2024, at the Sogakope WAFA Park, two semifinals were played.
Agbozume Weavers edged out Ho Dynamo FC in a 4-2 penalty shootout after a goalless draw in regulation time before Inter Allies thrashed Akpini Stars FC in a convincing 3-0 win to secure their spot in the finals.
This marks Inter Allies FC’s second appearance In a final this season having appeared in the Regional League final and were crowned champions of the Division Two League just two weeks ago after defeating WAFA SC 4-1 on penalties.
Agbozume Weavers, fueled by their disappointment from missing out on the middle league qualification, will leave no stone unturned in their quest for victory in this final. Their determination to make amends and bring home the Adonai Estate Volta FA Cup title will drive them to give it their all in the ultimate showdown against Inter Allies FC.
Both teams are eager to lift the Adonai Estate FA Cup title, but regardless of the outcome, both clubs will represent the region in the 2024/25 MTN FA Cup competition.
