The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has rolled out a stakeholder consultation exercise with its Division Two clubs across the various District Football Associations (DFAs) in the Volta and Oti Regions.
The exercise, mandated by the Volta FA Executive Council following engagements at last year’s Congress, will see DFA Chairmen engage clubs to solicit views on key football matters in the region.
Clubs are expected to share their assessment of the 2025/2026 league season, the DFA leagues, and any other matters necessary for the growth and development of football in the Volta and Oti Regions.
The decentralized approach has been adopted for strategic reasons.
The move, which is economically viable, will strengthen the relationship between Division Two clubs and DFA leadership in line with the VRFA Chairman’s call for a united Volta Football Association.
It will also broaden the scope of information gathered and serve as an alternative platform for clubs to share ideas that they may not be able to share at Congress.
The Executive Council will subsequently review the reports to identify concerns that may need to be brought to the floor of Congress to ensure that all voices are heard.
The Regional FA has thus urged all clubs to participate fully and is expecting reports from all DFAs by Friday, September 18.
