The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has signed a partnership agreement with Kristar Drinking Water as an Associate sponsor of the Regional Division Two League.
The sponsorship, worth GHS7,000, which spans a year, was officially signed today Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the secretariate of the Football Association.
Signing the deal, The Manager for Kristar Drinking Water, Henry Nyabledzi said their decision to sponsor the Division Two is in line with the company’s mission to promote the game.
“Football in volta is a unifier which connects people from all walks of life constantly. From the corners to the hallways of big corporates institutions, football conversations and matches bring joy and inspire greatness among patrons”.
“I know Volta football is improving each year and we see it a calling to partner this good brand to brighten our brand too. We know that lots of people follow the game in the region and the partnership will give us that recognition in our scope of operations too. Through football we know that we can reach all our targets, not only in volta but beyond the region. Regional football has in recent years taken its much-deserved place as a premium sporting spectacle which attracts thousands of fans and supporters,” he said.

Henry Nyabledzi added, “The incredibly talented players who play the game, the officials, the Football Association, and the fans will be energized in their support of their favorite teams and Kristar Drinking Water will be there to refresh them all the way.”
VRFA Chairman Daniel Agbogah expressed his delight in the partnership and noted that the FA is committed to ensuring a successful league season.
“The leadership of the Regional Football Association has shown commitment to the growth of football in the region. The commitment can be seen in the recent effort to get a headline sponsor for the league. We are on course to get the game to the pedestal we can all appreciate.”

Kristar Drinking Water
Ghc5,000 will be used to support awards and prizes during the Regional Middle League whilst Gh2,000 worth of Kristar water will be used during the regional middle league.
