Following the sadden demise of Inspector Phillip Teye Lomotey on Sunday 25th June, 2023 at the Ho Municipal Hospital after he collapsed during the finals of our Middle League, the Volta Regional FA leadership received its copy of situation report from the Director of the Ghana Red Cross Society on Tuesday 27th June, 2023.
The FA leadership further called on the Regional Command of the Ghana Police Service to discuss the content of the report received from the Red Cross Society.
The Staff Officer, Felix Danku who received the FA delegation in the absence of the Regional Commander stated he will inform the RFA when the Regional Commander returns so the relevant department and actors concerned will meet to discuss the content of the report.
Earlier on, the Executive Council of the RFA met with the Division Two Organising Committee of the RFA regarding the tragic incident.
The RFA will keep the public updated after all deliberations.
