Ave-Dakpa, home of Nugata FC in the Akatsi North District, welcomed the trophy tour team with open arms.
In a colorful ceremony, Nugata FC expressed their excitement as the trophy made a stop in their district.
Captain Tu Kennedy expressed appreciation to key football stakeholders in Ave and the Regional Football Association (RFA)
He assured both the Regional FA and the community that they would conduct themselves well during the tournament and compete vigorously in hopes of bringing the trophy back to Ave-Dakpa.

Chairman of the Regional FA, Daniel Agbogah outlined the visions of the Executive Council, which includes maximizing the reach of the game in every community of the region.
He mentioned that this event was a significant step forward in the development of football in the area as Nugata is making its first qualification.
The Chairman also appealed for office space and equipment for the District FA as well as a playing field.
District Chief Executive Hon. Bless Katamani praised the Volta FA for this modern initiative, noting that “innovations like this make the game lively.”

He expressed full support for the team and stated that should the trophy return to Ave-Dakpa, it would be the perfect “icing on the cake” of his appointment as DCE of the area.
Hon. Katamani also shared his hopes and prayers that the team qualifies directly from the Middle League into the Division One League, and then eventually the Ghana Premier League.
He promised to garner support from other notable stakeholders for the team and advised the players to avoid drugs and maintain discipline and determination.

The next stop and final stop for the trophy tour is Agortime Kpetoe and Ho, home of Kpetoe Diamond FC and Selion FC respectively.
This tour is in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) in the Volta region, aimed at promoting tourism through football.
