Ketu North Member of Parliament, Eric Edem Agbana, has donated GHC5,000 to Yadzo Oti Warriors FC following the death of the club’s owner and chairman, Mohammed Haruna Muniru.
The donation was presented to the team on Sunday, May 24, 2026, after their opening match in the ongoing Volta Regional Middle League at the Regional FA Secretariat in Ho.
Chairman of the Volta Regional Football Association, Daniel Agbogah, who was present at the ceremony, thanked the MP for the gesture on behalf of the Regional FA Executive Council and the club.
He said the support would help the team during this difficult period following the loss of its financier and leader.
Mr. Agbana expressed condolences to the players, technical team, and management of the club and encouraged them to remain focused as they continue their campaign in the competition.
Management of Yadzo Oti Warriors FC also expressed appreciation to the MP for the support.
The Volta Regional Middle League is currently underway at the Ho Sports Stadium, with the final scheduled for May 31, 2026.
