The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has set Thursday, October 8, 2026, as the date for its Ordinary Congress, in accordance with Articles 31 and 32 of the Ghana Football Association Statutes.
The statutory meeting will be held at the *Ho Municipal Assembly Hall at 10:00 AM*, bringing together delegates, club representatives and key stakeholders of Volta football to deliberate on the state and future of the game in the region.
The Ordinary Congress remains the highest decision-making body of the Association and provides a vital platform for reflection, accountability and strategic planning ahead of the 2026/27 football season.
Deliberations are expected to centre on the review of the past season, approval of financial statements, the Association’s budget for the new season, competitions calendar, development programmes and the overall strategic direction of Volta football.
In line with statutory requirements, a formal convocation notice containing the agenda for Congress, the Activity Report, Financial Statements and the Auditor’s Report has been duly circulated to all members to allow for adequate preparation.
The meeting will also enable the Executive Council led by Chairman Daniel Agbogah to engage directly with clubs and stakeholders to review progress and address key challenges confronting grassroots football.
Congress will culminate with the official announcement for the commencement of the 2026/27 league season across all levels in the region.
All delegates are entreated to be punctual as the VRFA continues its commitment to repositioning Volta football and strengthening grassroots development.
