The Chairman of the Regional Football Association Daniel Agbogah has reminded clubs about the player registration exercise currently ongoing.
In a message to members of the regional FA, Daniel Agbogah caution them not to rely on the minor transfer window since the activities of the regions might commence before the second transfer window, eliminating those who were unable to register their players for the 2020/2021 league season.
βGood morning. I am once again reminding us all to do our player registrations this window. For we are not sure of the plans GFA will come up with for the Regions. Please do not say you want to wait for the minor window. Let’s Do It Now!β Daniel said.
The transfer window opened on August 15 and it’s opened to 18 Premier League clubs, 48 Division One League clubs, 16 Women’s Premier League clubs, 72 Regional Womenβs Division One League clubs, Regional Division Two League clubs, Regional Third Division League clubs as well as the Juvenile League clubs (U-13, U-15, U-17).
Clubs in Ghana have up to midnight (23:59 GMT) of October 31, 2020, to register the names of their players and officials for the new season in the FIFA Connect system.
