Eight Teams Qualify for Northern Sector Division Two Sub-Middle League

Eight teams have secured qualification for the Sub-Middle League of the ongoing Volta FA Division Two League following the conclusion of the preliminary stage in the Northern Sector.

From Zones A and B, Eleven Brothers FC, Yadzo Oti Warriors, Shining Star FC, and Sons of Thunder FC progressed after a series of keenly contested fixtures.

Yadzo Oti Warriors topped their group with 14 points after six matches, while Sons of Thunder FC followed closely with 13 points.

Their performances saw Real Miracle and Oti United languishing behind.

They are joined by Burning Stars FC and Akpini Stars FC, who also impressed by finishing with 13 points apiece after six matches.

Likpe Heroes FC and Nkonya All Stars FC complete the line-up, having finished second in Zones C and D with 10 and 11 points respectively.

The qualified teams will converge at the Hohoe Sports Stadium from 17 to 19 April 2026, where they will compete for promotion places to the Volta Division Two Middle League.

The Northern Sector Sub-Middle League provides a platform for emerging talents to showcase their abilities while pursuing qualification for the Regional Middle League.

With progression at stake, this phase of the league is expected to produce fiercely competitive encounters, with two clubs set to advance to the Regional Middle League, the final phase of the ongoing Division Two League.
