The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) has announced the rescheduling of the Northern Sector Sub Middle League matches, with a new start date now set for Sunday, 19th to Tuesday, 21st April, 2026.
The competition, which was initially slated to be held at the Hohoe United Sports Stadium, will now take place at the Ho Sports Stadium.
The change follows a denied access to the Hohoe United home ground, after management of Hohoe United FC declined the Association’s request to use the facility for the tournament.
The Northern Sector Sub Middle League is expected to bring together eight clubs in a highly competitive battle for qualification, and despite the adjustments, anticipation remains high among participating teams.
The Volta FA has expressed regret over the inconvenience caused by the unexpected changes and extended apologies to all participating clubs, technical teams, and stakeholders for the mishaps, assuring that measures had been put in place to ensure smooth and successful competition.
The public is, therefore, advised to take note of the new arrangements and prepare accordingly as the race for Middle League qualification resumes under revised conditions.
