The Volta Regional Football Association, VRFA has confirmed the participating districts and municipalities for the 3rd U-17 Inter District Championship, with 22 Districts set to compete.
The 5-day tournament is scheduled to run from 19th to 23rd August 2026 and is expected to serve as a key platform for the next generation of football talent to emerge from the Volta Region.
The U-17 Inter District Championship forms part of the Regional FA’s ongoing commitment to grassroots football development and talent identification at the district level which is in line with the Ghana Football Association’s youth development agenda.
With districts and municipalities drawn into 5 competitive groups, football enthusiasts can expect five days of exciting youth football as communities rally behind their teams to unearth future stars.
The Inter District Championship serves as a major platform for the Regional FA to select players for regional representation.
Fixtures, match venues, and kick-off times will be announced in due course.
