Trophy Tour Team Receives Warm Welcome in Hohoe

The Volta Regional Football Association’s trophy tour train made their second stop in Hohoe, where they were warmly received at the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Prosper Kumi’s Office.

District FA Chairman, Mark Coffie, welcomed the Regional FA team from Ho and congratulated NADM SC on their qualification to the Regional Middle League.

Regional FA Chairman, Daniel Agbogah, took the opportunity to share his vision for football development in the Volta region.

He threw spotlight on his stewardship as RFA Chairman and his commitment to expanding the game to every district in the region.

Mr. Agbogah expressed his delight at Hohoe’s qualification to the Ghana Premier League, a testament to the development of talent and dedication to football since the establishment of the new District FA in the area.

The Volta FA Chairman also appealed to the MCE to allocate office space and equipment to the Hohoe District FA, stressing the need for infrastructure to support the growth of football in the district.

An invitation was extended to the Hon. Kumi to attend the upcoming Regional Middle League, slated for June 7 in Ho.

The MCE, Hon. Prosper Kumi expressed gratitude to the Volta FA and acknowledged the hard work of the association in promoting football development in the region.

In his remarks, Hon. Kumi urged NADM SC not to disappoint the district, knowing the importance of bringing pride and glory to Hohoe through their performance in the Regional Middle League.

As the train leaves Hohoe, the next stop would be Aveyime, and Sogakofe, homes of Aveyime Soccer Wonders FC and WAFA SC in the North and South Tongu Districts respectively.

The tour is in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA) in Volta, with the aim of promoting tourism through football.
