The Chairman of the Volta Regional Football Association, Mr. Daniel Agbogah will on Friday 12th June 2020 lead the newly constituted Volta FA Executive Council to pay a courtesy call on Volta Regional Minister Hon. Dr Archibald Yaw Letsa, at the Regional Coordinating Council in Ho.
The visit is a followup to earlier call made by the Chairman on the Hon. Minister earlier this year and promised to return to introduce members of the FA’s Executive Council to the Hon Minister after Council’s elections held in February this year.
This meeting has been delayed due to the outbreak of covid-19 in the country.
The Council, which is going to be ushered by the Volta Regional Director of the National Sports Authority, shall use the occasion to interact with the Minister to seek his blessings and to discuss holistic approach to reviving and development of football in the Volta Region.
The RFA Council would also use the platform to enquire about the state of the new sports complex being build by the government for the region.
The Executive Council will seize the opportunity to discuss with the Regional Director of NSA the possibilities of opening game centres across the region and to know the state of the FA’s letter requesting the NSA a portion of land to undertake a project of building office for the Regional Football Association.
The Regional Exco would also call on the former Chairman of the RFA, Mr Francis Dogbatse to express their condolences for the loss of his beloved wife Mrs Regina Adzo Dogbatse who passed on in January this year at the Ho Teaching Hospital.
The Exco will further call on Mr Joe Ayivor, an astute supporter of activities of the Volta Regional Football Association.
The RFA Chairman will at a later date lead the Executive Council to pay a similar call on Hon. Kwasi Owusu Yeboah the Regional Minister for Oti Region.
