The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) is preparing for an exciting Regional Middle League, set to take place from June 7 to June 15, 2025.
For the first time, the event will feature a trophy tour aimed at garnering support and excitement among stakeholders, teams, and football fans from the eight qualified teams ahead of the league’s final stage.
This tour, in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA), in the Volta region, aims to promote football and tourism, football closer to the community, football closer to the community, gather support for the qualified teams, and create an unforgettable experience.
The trophy tour will kick off on June 2, 2025, in Kadjebi, Oti Region, the home of the Yadzo Oti Warriors.
The coveted league trophy will visit all eight districts and municipalities of the teams that qualified for the Middle League from the preliminary stages of the Volta Regional Division Two League.
The qualified teams include Yadzo Oti Warriors, Akatsi Kickers FC, Aveyime Soccer Wonders, Nugata FC, Kpetoe Diamond FC, NADM SC, Selion FC, and WAFA SC
After Kadjebi, the next stop will be Hohoe, home of NADM SC. During the tour, fans will have a unique opportunity to take photos with the trophy, meet the teams, and participate in various cultural activities.
The Regional Middle League, known for being a football festival, promises to be an action-packed tournament featuring the best young talents from across the eight qualified teams, all competing for a spot in the national Division One League.
