The Volta Regional Football Association in collaboration with the office of the Volta Regional Minister has scheduled the second edition of the Volta Regional Minister’s Cup which is expected to be organized on 14th February to July.
This decision has become necessary as both parties intend to ensure that the competition achieves it’s expected objective.
After a careful review of the first edition of the competition by the two parties, the Minister is of the view that the program should be limited to marketable category of players as his vision is to bring in Football agents to scout talents and give them career pathway through football.
The common vision for this programme is to promote peace, unity and development of the Volta Region through football.
In order to give ample time to the teams to prepare, the two parties are of the view that off season would be the best timing for the tournament.
The Regional Football Association is excited to partner the Regional Minister to bring development to the door step of the youths of the Volta Region through football.
The Regional Football Association is committed to ensuring that Football is played in every part of Volta and Oti Regions.
