The Chairman of the Volta Regional Football Association, Mr. Daniel Agbogah, has met Match Officials appointed for the Middle League of the Volta Regional Division Two League in Ho.
The purpose of the meeting was to welcome the Referees ahead of the weeklong tournament which is set to begin tomorrow.
During the meeting, Mr. Agbogah encouraged the referees to be physically and mentally prepared for the upcoming matches. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of professionalism throughout the tournament and for the duration of their refereeing careers.
In addition to Mr. Agbogah, the meeting was attended by the Regional FA Secretary, Promise Ahiagba, Executive Council member and Organizing Committee Chairman, Hamza Mutala, Organizing Committee member, Mr. Joshua Edem Galley, and a member of the Referees Appointment Committee, Selase Ken Bannor.
The appointed referees for the Middle League include William Agbovi, Solomon Doku, Morkli Benjamin, Kase Mathias, and Bless Amenyedzi.
The rest are Wonder Setsofia, Gakpe Dennis, David Blay, Sunupa Prince, and Anumah Stephen.
Shine Ayeetey, Rustum Senorgbe, and Selese Ken Bannor will serve as Instructors.
The Middle League is scheduled to take place from Saturday, June 22 to June 30, 2024, at the Ho Sports Stadium, with the opening ceremony commencing at 1:00 PM.
