Adonai Estate Volta Division Two League Super Middle League – Preview

8 teams have confirmed their participation in the Adonai Estate Division 2 Super Middle League scheduled to commence on Saturday,17th of June 2023 at the Ho Sports Stadium.
2021 finalists, Home Stars FC, having qualifed for the Sub Middle League with 5 games to spare, had made clear their intentions of going for the ultimate this season once again. The Soccer Apostles dominated play in most of their games this season and made sure to score as many goals as they could and this is evident as their club captain and striker, Ronald Numenyah is the current top scorer of the league with 19 goals.
Home Stars FC finds themselves in group A alongside Southern Sector A leaders ILead FC who have shown much resilience this season and defied all odds to qualify for the Middle League.
ILead FC plays some good and exciting football which has earned them praises from their fans.
Burning Stars FC from the Northern Sector are the third team in group A.
They will be making a debut appearance on this high stage of regional football. They come into the Middle league with just 1 defeat the entire season and remained unbeaten in the Sub Middle League.
From the Southern Sector B, Bebeto Football Club are making a huge return to the Middle League after failing to make their mark in 2021.
With a coach who has seen it all at this competitive level, Bebeto would come in stronger and well prepared for a chance at the trophy to Division 1.
In group B, former Premier league giants, Inter Allies, who were demoted last season, have shown that, class is permanent.
The “Eleven Is To One” lads are the only unbeaten side still in the league. They coming with 10 wins and 3 draws. Allies might be in a hurry to go back to the National league but will have to go pass coach Umar Farouk’s Yadzo Oti Warriors, former winners Dynamo FC and Kopeiya United.
Yadzo Oti Warriors comes into the Middle League as the side with the most loses, 4, even though they played less games. Kopeiya United are a free-scoring side who would not only look to make a mark on the league but also distort plans of clubs like Inter Allies and Dynamo FC’s who’s thirsty and hungry for a return to the National Division One.
