It was a goal rainy day at the Adaklu Youth Resource Center in the ongoing Volta FA women’s division one league game.
An exciting games caught the spectators sitting whilst enjoying the talented ladies play to the gallery.
Dream Big Ladies could not find the antidote to the ever green Anlo Ladies. A 6-0 thrashing it was for the Anlo Ladies with Bebe Patricia Kpozo getting a hatrick. The disturbing scoreline ended the dream of their opponent whose name as Dream Big got shuttered.
Adidome Unity Ladies fought hard to remain victors over Mepe Ladies. Both teams started with lots of energy but it was Adidome Unity Ladies who kept their tempo high till the 90′. Elizabeth Kwawuvi Elikplim’s brace was enough for the Adidome ladies to crown the day with win.
Tomorrow’s fixtures promises to be another interesting and cagey encounter.
Dream Big Ladies will need not to give peace a chance for Mepe Peace Ladies. Anlo Ladies will square it off with Adidome Ladies as both teams had a sound victory in the match day one games.
