The Krachi East Municipal Football Association (FA) will make history on Sunday, 13 April 2025, as it kicks off its maiden Division 3 League accross the Nothern Zone of the Volta Football Association.
This is a landmark moment for grassroot football in the zones.
Sanctioned under the Volta Football Association, the new league aims to unearth talent and energize local football culture, with five clubs vying for supremacy.
Shinning Stars (Kwame Akura), K.D. United (Kudorkope), Health FC, Fora Nelson’s Academy, and Youngsters FC will contest in the league.
Each team would play four matches. One club will sit out each matchday due to the odd number of participants.
This Sunday Fora Nelson’s Academy would face Health FC and Youngsters FC will take on Shinning Stars, while K.D. United enjoys a bye.
Matches will be staged within the municipality.
