The Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) Chairman, Mr. Daniel Agbogah, welcomed a delegation from the Ghana Tourism Authority (GTA) in the Volta Region.
The GTA team, led by Regional Deputy Director Alhaji Amhdu Sulemana, paid a courtesy visit to the Secretariat to assess the progress of the ongoing Regional Middle League.
Alhaji Sulemana Amhdu was accompanied by Mr. Ameni Samson.
Discussions focused on the successful collaboration between the VRFA and GTA.
The theme for the Regional Middle League is “Leveraging Football to Promote Tourism”
The GTA team commended the VRFA for promoting football development and tourism in the region.
Chairman Agbogah expressed gratitude for the GTA’s support. He said the Middle League is highly competitive and successful.
He assured the team that preparations are underway for an exciting finals match on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at the Youth Resource Center.
Executive Council Members present at the meeting included Mr. Mark Coffie, Wisdom Bakah, and Ackumeh Delali.
The Volta Regional Division Two Middle League features eight teams and commenced on June 7, 2025, following preliminary matches that started in November 2024.
