A delegation from the management of Ho Old Battalions Group paid a courtesy visit to the Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) Secretariat in Ho, on Thursday, October 17, 2024.
The purpose of the visit was to introduce the Group and its goals to the Regional FA.
The leader of the delegation, Francis Lanyo, stated that one of their main objectives is to collaborate with the Regional FA to nurture young football talents.
They aim to provide guidance and mentorship and help in the improvement of football infrastructure and resources in the region.
The Chairman of the Regional FA, Daniel Agbogah expressed his excitement in receiving the delegation and welcomed the proposed partnership.
Mr. Agbogah is optimistic the collaboration will strengthen football development in the region.
Present at the meeting was Promise Michael Ahiagba, the Secretary of the FA, Raymond Tsiagbe, one of the deputy Secretaries, along with members of the Ho Old Battalions, Jerry Aworyi, Francis Lanyo, Saani Mohammed, and John Glikpo.
Ho Old Battalions is a group of retired football players from the Volta Region.
