The much anticipated Volta FA division two is here once again. A lot will be at stake at the Ho Sports Stadium where the football festival will see hundreds of football-loving fans and enthusiasts trooping in to catch a glimpse of a good football.
At 1:00 pm after the opening ceremony, Likpe Heroes will lorn horns with Kpetoe Diamond FC

LIKPE HEROES
Three points is up for the take and for the second time, Likpe Heroes will try ones more to make a case by testing their division one strength against a side who have been enterprising through out the division two league in the Central Sector.
Likpe Heroes will appear in this tourney after missing out for well over four seasons and their presence at the middle league having a touch of experienced striker, a blend of young players with the energy to get the needed results.
Their journey in the division two saw them sitting second with 23 points after losing a just a game. They ensured a good run was kept in the sub middle league beating Palace FC (3-0) before dispatching Super Rangers in a orced 3-2 game.
KPETOE DIAMOND FC
Kpetoe Diamond FC has been outstanding in the league. Their quest to qualify to the division one was made known right from day one in their division two campaign. A lot was said about them with many admiring their style of play.
They will have their maiden middle league against a side with a sharp attack. It was not rossy for the lads in the second round of the league, but they managed to keep their heads high with a lead on the log in the Central Sector A zone.
Diamond FC managed a win against Freedom Fighters and Great Winners to qualify to the middle league without conceding a goal. They scored only two goals (1-0), (0-1).
HEAD TO HEAD
Both teams will be meeting for the first time. A lot of work is up for the two coaches as they hope to exploit each other’s weaknesses, strength etc.
Likpe Heroes with their sharp attack has scored 6 goals in the sub middle league. (3-2) and (3-0)
They posses a good goal scoring record in their league games. ( Scored 25 goals and conceded 6).
Out of 10 games played, Likpe Heroes won 7 times. W7, D2, L1.
Diamond FC has suffered goal scoring (Under 1.5 goals per game) in their last 3 games. With two goals to their credit, Diamond FC managed 7 points in the sub middle league.
While they had a good run in the league in their Zone, the Kpetoe boys emerged at the top of the league log with a total of 36 points and conceding 6 times.
They went undefeated in the first round of the league but saw defeats to Selion FC and Vora FC in the second round. In all their campaign, the scored the highest goal in the Central Sector with a whooping of 27. They won 11 times out of 16 matches played. W11, D3, L2.
