Regional Minister’s Cup: Tournament Set to Kick Off on February 14

The Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has announced the upcoming Regional Minister’s Cup tournament, scheduled to take place on February 14, 2025, at the Youth Resources Center.

This special tournament aims to promote sports and sports infrastructural development, as well as unity in the region.

Hon. Gunu revealed that the ultimate winner will receive a trophy, medals, and a cash prize, while all participating teams will receive jerseys.

The tournament will feature eight teams, divided into two groups, A and B, with the winners of each group qualifying to play in the final.

The Volta Regional Football Association chairman, Mr. Daniel Agbogah, reiterated the FA’s commitment to ensuring the tournament’s success.

With excitement building up for the competition, the Regional Minister’s Cup is set to become an annual event on the region’s football calendar, eventually extending into other sporting disciplines.
