Football-loving people in the Volta Region will on Friday 14th February 2025 experience an exciting football game at the Youth Resource Center in Adaklu.
With the aim of drawing attention and attracting potential investors to develop the facility.
Office of the newly appointed Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu and leadership of the Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) have agreed to organize a day’s tournament aimed at strengthening the development of sports in the region, especially the football community.
Also, the tournament would create more opportunities for talented young players, enhance sporting infrastructure, and ensure that football becomes a driving force for youth empowerment in the Volta Region.
Ahead of the 14th February games, a press briefing will be held on Monday, 10th February 2025 at the Conference room of the Volta Regional Coordinating Council on the modalities of the game.
Eight teams are expected to participate in this maiden Regional Ministers Cup as they have been grouped into two with four in each group of A and B.
The time for kick-off is 8:00am.
