League leaders in Group D of the Northern Zone, Likpe Heroes FC, have withdrawn from the upcoming Sub-Middle League in the ongoing Division Two League.
Their qualified competitor, NADM SC, currently in second place remains strong to compete in the Sub-Middle League.
In an interesting turn of events, Anointed Stars, who finished third in the group, will replace Likpe Heroes in the competition.
This means that Anointed Stars will compete alongside NADM SC, Palace FC, and Arise and Shine FC in the Sub-Middle League, which is scheduled to take place from 7 -9 May, 2025 at Yadzo Park.
The Sub-middle League is set to be keenly contested, with all four teams vying for a spot in the main middle.
