Day two of the Trophy Tour ended with a special visit to the palace of Togbe Akpalu II in the Fievie traditional area, near Sogakope in the South Tongu District.

took the opportunity to reiterate the importance of collective support for football development in the Volta and Oti Regions.

He mentioned challenges such as infrastructural deficits and appealed to Togbe Akpalu II leverage his position to lobby for infrastructure development like the construction of a modernize football field in the South Tongu District.
Mr. Agbogah also made a passionate plea to parents through Togbe to encourage children to take up the sport, stressing the benefits of football in projecting stars, promoting discipline and hard work.
Togbe Akpalu II, visibly excited by the trophy’s visit to his palace, warmly welcomed the team.
The traditional leader’s excitement shows the importance of football in connecting communities together and promoting social cohesion.
Togbe who professed his admiration for the WAFA SC team, challenged them to win take the Middle League seriously and bring the trophy home to Fieve.
He thanked them for raising the name of the community high and wished them well.
The trophy tour team was grateful for the warm reception and looked forward to continuing their journey to Ave Dakpa and Akatsi in the Akatsi North and South Districts respectively.
The tour is in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA) in Volta, with the aim of promoting tourism through football.
