Trophy Tour Train Makes Third Stop at Aveyime

The trophy tour train made its third stop at Aveyime, home of the Aveyime Soccer Wonders in North Tongu District.

The team arrived at the Aveyime Lorry Park, where they were met by enthusiastic supporters.

The Aveyime community turned out in large numbers, filled with excitement as the trophy tour team received a warm welcome.

Captain Joshua Dilewoapene reflected on the team’s challenging journey leading up to their qualification and reassured the gathering that they would return victorious with the trophy for Aveyime.

Secretary to the Chiefs and Elders Council of Aveyime Traditional Area, Daniel Norgbedzi who expressed his joy encouraged the team to perform well so as to elevate the name of Aveyime.

The District Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), Mathew Daaba assured the gathering of the chairman’s request for office space for the District Football Association after RFA Chairman Daniel Agbogah made the appeal during his remarks.

The event was attended by various stakeholders and opinion leaders from the Aveyime traditional area.

As the train leaves Aveyime, the next stop would be Sogakofe in the South Tongu District, home of WAFA SC.

The tour is in collaboration with the Ghana Tourism Authority(GTA) in Volta, with the aim of promoting tourism through football.
