However, it was the post-match festivities that truly brought the occasion to life.

Before the finalists assembled for the closing ceremony, the stadium entrance was transformed into a vibrant cultural stage as performers from the Heritage Dance Ensemble entertained spectators with a dazzling display of traditional dance, music, and colour.

Their energetic performance had fans on their feet, turning a football final into a memorable regional cultural celebration.

Speaking during the ceremony, Volta FA Chairman Daniel Agbogah expressed his appreciation to all football stakeholders for their support and commitment throughout the season.

He commended every club, official,  and participant involved in the competition, from the preliminary stages to the Middle League Finals, noting that the league continues to serve as a platform for youth development, social impact, cultural expression, and community pride.

Mr. Agbogah also appealed to the relevant authorities to prioritise the improvement of sporting infrastructure across the Volta Region to support the growth and development of football.

An important moment of the ceremony was the ceremonial presentation of the league trophy by Mama Bobi III, Afetornyonufia of Bankoe, whose presence brought dignity and cultural significance to the occasion.

The trophy had toured the Volta and Oti Regions since May 18, 2026, generating excitement and anticipation ahead of the final.

The dignitaries greeted players from both finalist clubs before kickoff, symbolising sportsmanship and unity.

At halftime, the Regional FA honoured Mr. Dickson Akortia, Mr. Francis Aba, Madam Innocentia Agbavitor, and Hon. James Gunu in recognition of their contributions to the development of football in the Volta Region.
