WAFA records high number of goals ahead of Sub-Middle League

With just three games to finish in the Southern Sector B, Zone A of the Volta Regional Division Two League, West African Football Academy (WAFA) has scored 73 goals with no losses.

This is the first time a team has recorded a remarkable number of goals in the preliminaries of the Division Two League.

The former Ghana Premier League side ran riot in their opening game of the league, scoring 11 goals against newly promoted Angorto FC who are currently lying 6 on the league log with 19 points

After 15 games, the academy boys have amassed 41 points from 13 wins with just 2 draws recorded in their games against Bebeto FC and Yingor FC respectively.

Despite only 3 games left in their Zone, WAFA has already booked a Sub-middle League spot.

The academy boys will hope to finish the league with an unbeaten record status and a high scoreline recorded in a match.

WAFA has been impressive in their run as they look forward to the next phase of the competition.
