Hon. Govern Agbodza Donates Motorbike, Laptop, and Other Office Equipment to Adaklu DFA.

The Member of Parliament for Adaklu Constituency, Honourable Governs Kwame Agbodza today donates an Office space, Motorbike, Catch Them Young Referees equipment, whistles and a cash of Ghc 5,000.00 to support the work of Adaklu District Football Association.

This kind gesture follows an appeal made on behalf of the ADFA by the Regional FA Chairman Daniel Agbogah to the Legislator when he the RFA Chairman paid a curtesy call on the MP on 16th June, 2024, to introduce the new Adaklu DFA Chairman Mr. Dickson Fenuku and Executives to the MP.

The MP who expressed his commitment and pledged his full support for the RFA Chairman’s vision of making football a career pathway for the youths of the District gave his words to the RFA Chairman and the Adaklu DFA executives that he noted the immediate needs of the embryonic ADFA and would do everything possible to ensure they are delivered for effective running of the DFA.

Hon. Agbodza delivered this promise at a football stakeholders meeting at Adaklu District Capital, Waya.

The Volta Regional Football Association Chairman, Daniel Agbogah, who received the items on behalf of the District FA expressed his gratitude to the MP for honouring his promise to enhance proper football administration in the District.

“Hon, please on behalf of the Executive Council of the Volta Region, and on behalf of the Executives and all football stakeholders of the Adaklu District FA, I wish to express my heartfelt appreciation to you for this kind gesture. We made this appeal to you in just about two months ago and here we are receiving everything we appealed for. I must say that I am extremely excited for the show of love and support for the cause of football development in the region. This is not just a support for the Adaklu District FA but also for the region as a whole, and this will go down in the history of the Volta FA. May God bless this kind support”. Mr. Agbogah said.

The Adaklu District FA Chairman, Dickson Fenuku took his turn to thank the MP for the donations and promised him that the items would be put into good use for the effective running of the office of the District FA.

Other FA member present at the meeting include; Hamza Mutala RFA Executive Council member, and Richard Meble (ADFA secretary), Elias Amegavi Reuben Tegbeza, Jessica Adzowu, Edward Agbovi, who are all Executives of the ADFA.
