The Volta Regional Football Association has appointed Mr. Anthony Bells Kafui Kanyi as its Head of Communications and media Committee.
Mr. Kanyi brings to the role extensive experience in Journalism and media management.
He previously worked with the Ghana News Agency (GNA), where he served as a Volta Regional Correspondent before rising to the positions of Regional Director and Deputy News Editor at the Agency’s head office.
During his career, he received several professional awards for his work in Journalism.
He is a former Chairman of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) in the Volta Region, a former National Executive Member of the GJA and currently the Medical Tourism Coordinator and Acting Public Relations Officer at the Ho Teaching Hospital.
In his new role, Mr. Kanyi will leverage his broad knowledge of the media landscape to support the Regional FA’s communication strategy.
Other members of the Communication and Media Committee are Eric Eli Adzie, Sandocal Akpablie, Mohammed Zain Abidina, Gideon Husuanyi Mawudor, Geoffrey Gah-Mensah, Shaibu Fuseini, Tilda Acorlor, Amadu Hamidu, Pearl Agyeibea, Randy Edudzi Ahadzi, Ruben Dzidodo Adzaho and Adavu James Mawuli.
