Volta FA Chairman, Daniel Agbogah, Commends Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu’s Commitment to Football Development

The Chairman of the Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA), Daniel Agbogah, has commended the Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu for his dedication to advancing grassroots football in the region, citing the minister’s frequent engagement with local matches and his strategic plans for sports infrastructure.

This commendation follows Hon. Gunu’s recent visit to the Ho Sports Stadium, where he attended a goalless draw on Match Day 14 between Selion FC and Kpetoe Diamond FC.

During the visit, the minister took time to interact with players, coaches, and fans.

“Hon. Gunu’s presence at our league matches is not just symbolic; it reflects his deep commitment to developing football from the grassroots level,” Agbogah stated.

“His time and vision are invaluable to our shared goal of making the Volta region a football powerhouse.” He added.

Agbogah also noted that the minister’s frequent visits have rekindled interest in the local leagues.

A key focus of Agbogah’s commendation is Hon. Gunu’s efforts to attract investors for a major renovation of the Ho Sports Stadium, a project that Agbogah is both delighted and passionate about.

Hon. Gunu believes that an improved facility will attract scouts and sponsors, creating opportunities for players in the region to excel.
