It’s Day 3 of the ongoing Volta FA Middle League where Group B continues with the second game of the tournament which will be between Diamond FC and Nazareth FC

Below is the Preview and head-to-head ahead of the game

Diamond FC and Nazareth FC certainly going to light up the stadium at 3pm when the two teams finally meet. As for who gets the upper hand over each other will definitely going to be the side with a better bench.

Kpetoe Diamond FC

This is the team many have tipped to be at the grand finale come Sunday. However it wasn’t too good a story written in their first group game against Likpe Heroes. There is every point for them to feel bad for the goal they conceded especially as it could have been an avoidable goal. But there is certainly a lot to play out for in this afternoon.

Diamond FC will indeed have to keep up the chase and ensured more men are pushed forward to get an early goal to unsettle Nazareth.

Nazareth FC

Who would have thought David could have killed Goliath in the manner Nazareth beat Inter Allies. It will be a shock to many but when one has followed the game so much, there is nothing like a surprise afterall.

Nazareth will definitely eye their second win having drawn massive motivation from the fact that, they beat the tournament favorites. Even though Inter Allies hasn’t been on a top form, credit needs to be given to Nazareth for the explicit display of football against all odds which favors Inter Allies.

They will need to keep the tempo high in order to get a convining passage to the final.

Head to Head

If a friendly match is anything to go by, we can say Kpetoe Diamond FC has an upper hand over Nazareth who lost 0-2 to the Kpetoe boys. It is definitely not so as far as competitive game is concerned.

This will be the first time Kpetoe Diamond FC and Nazareth FC will meet at a high stage as the two teams are noted for playing fine football.

Nazareth has scored at least 2 goals in their previous game while Diamond FC only goal in the last match came from the spot. This means Diamond FC needs to work on their goal scoring abilities to maintain a god goal record come this afternoon.
