Match Preview: Inter Allies FC vs WAFA SC In Middle League Grand Finale

Another final is upon us once more, a highly anticipated fixture in the Middle League tournament, sure to be on the minds of football fans and enthusiasts for quite some time.

Here is a preview and head-to-head of Inter Allies FC vs WAFA SC

WAFA SC

The West African Football Academy (WAFA SC) setup has been blazing from day one. Right from their zonal league games to the middle league has been admired by spectators who have taken time to watch them play. Regardless of the fact that they are not playing on their favorite pitch doesn’t make any difference with them still able to win matches. Their head coach has said in numerous interviews how his opponents are not able to withstand the 90-minute explosive action. If your guess is as good as mine, then be expecting another action of a 90-minute explosive journey against Inter Allies FC.

WAFA only drew ones in the middle league having recorded two wins. Coming to the final, they posses  good attacks and a solid defense since only 1 goal has been conceded by them (2-0, 1-1, 3-0). This is a remarkable stats ahead of the final with Inter Allies this afternoon. WAFA’s eye on the division one slot will mean they will have to cross the last hurdle to make it a reality.

International Allies FC

For losing out on a penalty shootout last season which denied them a dream to be in Division One would have been that painful. For the second time to make it to the final also means that, Inter Allies have also done the necessary corrections.

It will definitely be a great achievement for inter Allies to make history. And definitely they have what it takes to win this afternoon having drawn inspiration from last season and the fact that, they have played in the final before. Inter Allies haven’t been really involved in too many goals but that may  be corrected in the final when they meet WAFA SC at 3 pm.

A lot is at stake for the former two premier league sides who have seen it all at the bigger stage. This will be a game of equals and for Inter Allies to be second time lucky, they need to go all out for it.

HEAD TO HEAD

This will be a game of equals. Both teams have played twice already this season in the FA stage and the sub middle league stage. Inter Allies beat WAFA 1-0 in Bator whereas WAFA also turned same scoreline to their favor in Sogakope.

Today’s game is the final of the Volta FA Middle League which will see one team qualifying to division one.

For who goes to division one will be determined after the 90′ .

Let’s watch football together at 3pm
