Volta FA Signs Headline Sponsorship Deal with Mart ‘D’ Electrical and Construction Works.

The Volta Regional Football Association has secured a headline sponsorship for the 2025/2026 Division Two League Season.

Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the sponsorship deal worth GH¢150,000 was signed by the RFA Chairman, Daniel Agbogah and the CEO of Mart ‘D’ Electrical and Construction Works, Martin Davidson at the Volta Regional FA Secretariat on Monday, 10th November, 2025.

 

Speaking at the brief ceremony, the VRFA Chairman, Daniel Agbogah expressed his appreciation on behalf of the Executive Council and all stakeholders of the RFA to the CEO of Mart ‘D’ Electrical and Construction Works.

“On behalf of the Executive Council of the Volta Football Association,  and the entire stakeholders of the Football ecosystem in the Volta and Oti regions,  I wish to express my profound gratitude to the CEO of Mart D Electricals Company for coming to our aid at this very important moment of the game in our region.” Daniel Agbogah said.

The Chairman further expressed how important the sponsorship means to the RFA and gave assurance that the money would be put to judicious use to improve the development of the game across the Volta and Oti regions.

“Today marks another ground breaking moment for football in our Volta Region. I must say that this sponsorship is timeous and a game changer.  Our football is faced with a lot of challenges and requires a lot of investment and resources to have these challenges addressed.” 

“This sponsorship means less burden on our clubs and effective running of the various competition of the RFA. I can assure you of ExCo’s commitment to ensure that this sponsorship is put into effective use to enhance the development of the game in the Volta and Oti regions.” The VRFA Chairman said.

The Chairman mentioned that the RFA ExCo has decided not to increase the monies paid during the 2024/2025 league season, and that competitions of the RFA would be enhanced for good.

The CEO of Mart ‘D’ Electrical and Construction Works, Martin Davidson, in his remarks commended the leadership of the Volta RFA for facelifting football in the Volta Region.

Mr. Davidson said he has been following the work of the RFA for sometime now and has seen the progress of work and successes so far.

He disclosed that he understands the work of the RFA will require corporate support to surge on hence his willingness to answer the calls of the RFA Chairman to sponsor the activities of the VRFA.

‘I am a keen fan of football and I have been following the work of the leadership of football in our region a while now. I have noticed passion, hard work, commitment and selfless dedication of the leadership of the Volta RFA and this is why our company could not hesitate to the call of the RFA Chairman to support this cause that will give hope and a career opportunity to the youth of the Volta and Oti Regions.” Mr. Davidson said.

Mart D Electrical and Constructions Works is a Ghanaian company that specializes in electrical construction and installation services.

Present at the ceremony were the RFA Vice Chairman, Caesar Franklin Heh, and the RFA Secretary Promise Micheal Ahiagba.
