Volta Region Awaits Exciting Tournament As Regional Minister’s Cup Ready to Kick Off

The stage is set for the Regional Minister’s Cup, scheduled to take place today, February 14, 2025.

Ahead of the tournament, a delegation from the Volta Regional Football Association (VRFA) and the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) inspected the Youth Resource Center to ensure its readiness for the event.

In a symbolic gesture, aide to the Volta Regional Minister, Mr. Del Bright Kugbadzor, handed over footballs, jerseys, medals, and a trophy to the RFA Chairman, Mr. Daniel Agbogah.

The Volta Regional Minister’s Cup aims to foster unity, sportsmanship, and talent development across the 18 districts of the region.

Eight teams, formed from the 18 municipal and district assemblies, will compete in the tournament, which will feature a group stage followed by a final match.

With the tournament kicking off today, the region is eagerly anticipating an exciting and successful event.

This tournament is part of the minister’s commitment to promoting sports and youth development in the region.

The Minister’s Cup is expected to become an annual event, promoting sports development and unity in the region.
